Chamber seeks nominations for AgriBusiness awards

The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Agribusiness Committee will be accepting 2010 agribusiness award nominations through March 26.

The chamber is looking for nominations in the following categories:

  • Friend of Agribusiness: An individual who has consistently promoted agribusiness and agriculture in Hall County.
  • Outstanding Agribusiness: A member of the agribusiness community demonstrating significant presence and progress. The agribusiness must have been in operation for at least five years to qualify for this award.
  • Farmer of the Year: A person who has made significant contribution to agribusiness and community services.
  • Ag Hall of Fame: A person (living or deceased) with sustained contributions to Hall County agriculture and agribusiness.

The Agribusiness Recognition Awards will be presented at 7:30 a.m. April 14 at the East Hall Community Center.
