The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Agribusiness Committee will be accepting 2010 agribusiness award nominations through March 26.
The chamber is looking for nominations in the following categories:
- Friend of Agribusiness: An individual who has consistently promoted agribusiness and agriculture in Hall County.
- Outstanding Agribusiness: A member of the agribusiness community demonstrating significant presence and progress. The agribusiness must have been in operation for at least five years to qualify for this award.
- Farmer of the Year: A person who has made significant contribution to agribusiness and community services.
- Ag Hall of Fame: A person (living or deceased) with sustained contributions to Hall County agriculture and agribusiness.
The Agribusiness Recognition Awards will be presented at 7:30 a.m. April 14 at the East Hall Community Center.
