Investigators still are trying to determine what caused a fire that destroyed a vacant house on Price Road in North Hall early Monday morning.

The house at 5654 Price Road started burning at about 4:30 a.m. and was completely engulfed in flames when Hall County firefighters arrived, Chief David Kimbrell said.

The fire caused about $250,000 in damage to the 3,000-square-foot house, which was formerly a personal care home, Kimbrell said.

The owner, Sepideh Sarafi, has been to the house and spoken with investigators but was not living at the house, Kimbrell said.
