A vehicle fire in a lower level parking deck Friday morning at Northeast Georgia Medical Center damaged two other vehicles.“We had a lot of calls on this. From the street view it looked like something on the back side of the hospital was on fire, but wind brought the smoke across the hospital and across Jesse Jewell,” Gainesville Fire Chief Jon Canada said.Calls reporting the fire started coming in at 8:20 a.m.Upon arrival, firefighters were able to see thick, black smoke and heavy fire coming from the vehicle. Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control quickly.
