John Wilkinson has been in state politics long enough to have seen the good and bad. After winning a special election in 2011, Wilkinson was re-elected twice to the Senate representing District 50, which includes a portion of northeast Hall County along with Banks, Habersham and much of Jackson counties. He’s been around when budget cuts were the norm, and now is watching the economy improve.
