A grocery retailer known for cutting the frills of standard grocery stores in favor of cutting expenses for consumers is poised to open in South Hall. Located at 3640 Mundy Mill Road, Aldi will open its doors to the public 9 a.m. Thursday. People at the grand opening will get to sample products and enter sweepstakes for a chance to win gift certificates.
