North precinct selects deputy of the month
Forsyth County Deputy Marvin Boggus has been selected as the North Precinct’s Deputy of the Month for May 2008, Precinct Commander Capt. Mark Flowers announced.
Boggus, who was employed with the sheriff’s office in February 2008, was selected among his peers for his outstanding work in April. According to Flowers, Boggus’ selection for this honor comes in part as the result of his apprehension of two suspected drug dealers on March 6.
During the year, each precinct recognizes a Deputy of the Month. At the end of each year, a Deputy of the Year is selected from the 12 monthly award winners.
