Collins named Lanier Tech’s first Allied Health dean Dr. Deanne Dotson Collins, a native of Habersham County, has been named the first dean of Allied Health for Lanier Technical College. Collins graduated from York Technical College in Rock Hill, S.C., with an associate’s degree in Allied Health, then earned a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Columbia Southern University in Orange Beach, Ala. She earned her master’s degree from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas, and in 2013 earned her doctorate of education from the University of Georgia.
