Adams Data Management acquires Peach State firm
Jimmy Adams of Adams Data Management recently announced the company's recent acquisition of Atlanta-based Peach State Records Management Inc.
"Much like Adams Data Management, Peach State Records Management has actively served customers with a ‘hands-on' management approach," Adams said. "With the purchase of Peach State, we further extend our client base in Atlanta while continuing to provide timely, superior technical services that exceed our client's expectations."
Adams Data Management is the largest privately owned and operated records management company in Georgia, specializing in off-site, computerized inventory management and secure storage of business information.
In 2006, Adams Data Management purchased Atlanta-based Cathcart Records Management, and in 2008, Gainesville-based The Box Office Inc. increasing the company's services in the greater metro Atlanta area.
ABC Supply promotes Massey to managing partner
ABC Supply Co. Inc. has promoted Ken Massey, manager of its Gainesville store, to managing partner.
Massey joined ABC Supply in 2005 and was named manager of the Gainesville branch at 2169 Centennial Drive in 2006.
ABC Supply, based in Beloit, Wis., is the largest wholesale distributor of roofing in the United States and one of the nation's largest distributors of siding, windows and other select exterior building products.
Massey is a Gainesville resident. As a managing partner, he will continue to oversee the branch and will take on additional responsibilities. He will become a member of ABC Supply's National Branch Advisory Board, which advises senior management on a wide range of topics, including strategic initiatives, branch expansion, product development, technology, branch operation and company policy.
"Ken Massey and the other branch managers who are selected as managing partners represent the best of the best," said David Luck, ABC Supply's chief executive officer and president. "They are the experts who are out in the field every day working with customers. We look to them to provide insights and input that will help shape the strategic direction of the company."
Founded in 1982, ABC Supply operates 480 locations in 44 states and the District of Columbia.
