Physical therapist Lott joins Lanier Therapy in Motion

Lanier Therapy in Motion, a physical therapy practice, has announced the appointment of Sue Ann Lott, licensed physical therapist, to their Cleveland location. Lott joined Lanier Therapy in April of 2008.

In her role, Lott will continue to provide the Cleveland area with state of the art rehabilitation for patients with orthopedic, sports and spine injuries as well as back and neck pain. Lott has 26 years of experience in physical therapy.

DeMore joins AXA Advisors

Bitsy DeMore has joined AXA Advisors as a financial professional. The announcement was made by George Diamantis, executive vice president of the company’s Southeast marketing center.

DeMore has been in the financial services industry for 16 years, the last five of which she has assisted clients with retirement planning, life insurance and estate planning.

"I decided to affiliate my business with AXA Advisors because its business model allows me to maintain my independence while providing the support of a large corporation," DeMore said.

DeMore is a member of the Habersham Women’s Business Group. She is a Sunday school teacher and organist at Shirley Grove Baptist Church.

Hilchie joins Gainesville Physical Therapy

Darren Hilchie has joined the staff of Gainesville Physical Therapy. He earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree in physical therapy from North Georgia College & State University. He has two years experience in occupational rehabilitation and three years experience working with geriatric patients in exercise therapy.

Dalton named excellence winner by Food Lion

Currie Dalton, manager of the Food Lion supermarket on South Enota Drive, has been named a regional winner of the company’s Store Manager Excellence Award. The winners were announced at the quarterly leadership meeting in Charlotte, N.C.

"These store managers are the best of the best," said Meg Ham, senior vice president of retail operations. "I literally get butterflies in my stomach when I think of the roles that these store managers have played in their stores and the impact they have had on our entire organization and within their communities."

Dalton was one of 24 regional winners selected from a group of more than 100 district winners.
