Attorney Walker honored by State Bar of Georgia
Carol Walker, a Gainesville attorney, is the latest recipient of the Joseph T. Tuggle Jr. Award of the State Bar of Georgia.

The award is given in recognition of the lawyer or judge who the family law section deems to have most exemplified the qualities of professionalism in their practice. Past recipients include some of Georgia's most respected and admired family law attorneys and judges.

Walker was awarded this honor by Hall County Superior Court Judge Bonnie Oliver at the section's annual Family Law Institute on May 24.

"This attorney (Walker) prepares every case as if it were the most important case," Oliver said. "No detail is overlooked and no issue goes unrecognized. The level of preparation is unsurpassed by any other domestic attorney with whom I've dealt."

In addition to Walker's law practice in Gainesville, she has volunteered numerous hours to the legal profession, serving on the State Bar Investigative Panel and the executive committee of the Family Law Section of the Georgia State Bar.
