ATLANTA -- New Leaf Landscape Services of Gainesville received three awards at the Metro Atlanta Landscape and Turf Association's annual environmental awards and scholarship dinner.

New Leaf Landscape earned grand awards for its maintenance of the Greg Syfan and Rock Baker residences, and a merit award for its maintenance of the Bill Caiaccio residence.

Drought disaster loan seminar set for Thursday
The Hall County Cooperative Extension Office and The Gainesville Small Business Development Center will hold a brief seminar on Thursday for businesses that have been economically impacted by the drought and may qualify for loan assistance from the Small Business Administration.

The seminar will begin at 10 a.m. at the Hall County Extension Office, 734 Crescent Drive.
