A Braselton man died this morning when he lost control of his car and hit several trees on Spout Springs Road near Christy Lane in South Hall, authorities said.

Kevin Ray Bagwell, 43, was driving westbound at about 9:30 a.m. in a blue Honda when he crossed the center line and went down an embankment, said Gordy Wright, public information officer for the Georgia State Patrol.

The man was ejected when he struck several trees, and he died at the scene, Wright said.

No other people were in the car and authorities said neither alcohol nor speed are suspected as factors in the wreck.
