The town of Braselton maintains the Hall County Board of Commissioners overstepped its authority with the recent renaming of Ga. 347 to Lanier Islands Parkway. A vote Monday night expressed Town Council’s feeling that Braselton “does not recognize Hall County’s purported renaming of Friendship Road.” The Braselton council in a resolution ratifies Friendship Road as the route’s name within the town’s boundaries.
