A body was found Tuesday evening in the woods in North Hall County, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded at about 7 p.m. to the 5000 block of Britt Whitmire Road. The body will be sent for an autopsy.

“Foul play is not suspected at this time, however the autopsy report will provide further details,” spokeswoman Nicole Bailes said.

The victim is not being identified as authorities continue working to notify the person’s family.
