Banks County student dies from self-inflicted shooting

A student at Banks County High School died Saturday from a self-inflicted gunshot wound suffered Friday at the school. Banks County Sheriff Charles Chapman said Friday the male student sustained a “self-inflicted” gunshot room just after 8 a.m. in one of the school bathrooms. No one else was injured in the incident.
