An Arlington, Tennessee man visiting Hall County allegedly requested lewd photos from a child under the age of 16, according to authorities.
James Carl Davidson, 33, was charged with six counts of electronic exploitation of a minor and three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office said Davidson allegedly started contact Jan. 15 “with a person he knew to be a child under the age of 16” for three days while visiting Hall County.
“He sent graphic descriptions of sex acts he wanted to engage in with the child and also requested the child send lewd photos of her genitals,” spokesman Derreck Booth wrote in a news release.
Booth did not disclose the age or gender of the child involved.
Investigators obtained arrest warrants for Davidson, and he was booked into the Hall County Jail Jan. 17.
The case is still under investigation, and the Sheriff’s Office is working with the Georgia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
No bond has been set in Davidson’s case, and no attorney information was available Wednesday, Jan. 22, from Magistrate Court.
