More than 18 pounds of marijuana and 30 firearms were among the items seized in a Monday, Feb. 24, drug bust in Hall County.
Officers with the Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad seized the drugs and weapons during a search of a home in the 3000 block of Red Bird Circle, off of Chestatee Road in northwest Hall, in unincorporated Gainesville.
The bust was announced Wednesday morning.
Along with the marijuana, officers seized 28 grams of THC oil, bags of THC-infused candy, psilocybin mushrooms, 2 grams of cocaine, a variety of more than 175 narcotic pills, a money-counting machine, digital scales, packaging materials, ledgers and drug-related paraphernalia.
The drugs were estimated to have a street value of more than $80,000. Officers also found more than $10,000 in suspected drug proceeds at the home.
One of the 30 firearms seized had its serial number ground off, according to law enforcement. They also seized a bullet-proof vest and a large quantity of ammunition.
Arrested at the home were Joshua Rairigh Shultz, 38, and Jamie Shultz, both of Gainesville. They lived at the home at the time.
The pair have been charged with more than 50 crimes, and no further arrests are anticipated.
