Update, 1 p.m.: Georgia State Patrol's aviation unit spotted Jo Green-Baxter laying in the woods near 4271 Mundy Mill Road. She was transported by ambulance to Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Previous story: Police are searching for a 75-year-old woman with Alzheimer’s disease who left around 1 a.m. Thursday, April 23, from an assisted living facility in Oakwood.

Oakwood Police Investigator Todd Templeton said multiple units were out searching for Jo Green-Baxter, who left The Waterford at Oakwood on Hudson Drive.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
