Alcohol appears to be a factor in a crash Monday, Sept. 6, that killed a Lula driver.

Christine Louise Miller, 64, was driving north about 1:20 p.m. in a Kia Soul on Clarks Bridge Road south of Little Circle when her car left the road, struck a mailbox, a sign and a tree before coming to a stop, said Cpl. B.D. Taylor of the Georgia State Patrol.

Miller died at the crash site.

Taylor said alcohol was a “suspected factor of the crash.”
