Missing Gainesville teen found

Update, 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 10: Miranda was located safely Wednesday night, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.


Authorities are asking for help to find a missing 17-year-old girl last seen walking from her Gainesville home more than two weeks ago.

Miranda Kimberly Arvizu was last seen May 24 walking away from her Harmony Church Road home, and she was reported missing by a family member May 28.

Miranda is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.
