The Hall County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help to find a stolen excavator.

Authorities said the 2008 Komatsu PC35MR-3 was stolen from 3108 Atlanta Highway in Oakwood on March 15. The equipment has an estimated value of $26,000.

The Travelers Indemnity Company is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to “the recovery and safe return” of the excavator.

The sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post “if you have information to offer, or should you know of the heavy equipment's whereabouts,” residents should call 770-531-6887. Callers can remain anonymous by calling 770-503-3232.
