A Charlotte, North Carolina, man was accused of having 3 pounds of marijuana in separate shrink-wrapped bags, according to authorities.
Curtis Richard Bledsoe, 22, was charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute. He was booked Tuesday in to the Hall County Jail, where he remains.
Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad Lt. Don Scalia said Bledsoe was arrested at the intersection of McEver and Mountain View roads in Oakwood after an “extended surveillance operation.”
“From that, we were able to develop a suspect and identify his vehicle,” Scalia said.
Authorities reportedly found 3 pounds of marijuana and $9,915 in cash following a traffic stop.
Hall County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Oakwood Police assisted in the investigation.
The estimated street value of the drugs is $13,500.
