Authorities: Man charged with gambling at Gainesville gas station
Agents seized almost $17,000 from gas station

A Gainesville man was arrested Thursday and charged with keeping a place of gambling at a Browns Bridge Road gas station.

Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad agents executed a search warrant at the BP station at 2300 Browns Bridge Road. Adnan Ahmend Khan, 36, was arrested.

“The warrant was executed after having received information that U.S. Currency was being paid out for winnings off of the video poker machines within the store,” according to a news release.

MANS agents seized $16,763.75 from the gas station.

Khan was charged with commercial gambling and keeping a place of gambling. He was taken to the Hall County Jail.
