Atlanta Highway convenience store robbed
Suspect remains at large after taking cash from Atlanta Highway business

A convenience store on Atlanta Highway was robbed Friday night and the suspect remains at large.

The store at Atlanta Highway and Pearl Nix Parkway was robbed by an armed man around 9 a.m. Friday. The man, wearing a hooded jacket with his face covered, pointed a pistol at the store clerk and demanded money. He fled with an undetermined amount of cash. No one was injured.

As he left the store, he fell and broke the pistol. Hall Sheriff's Office investigators believe the weapon was likely a BB gun.

The suspect is described as a black man about 6 feet tall weighing 230 pounds and wearing a black hooded jacket.

This incident remains under investigation by the Hall County Sheriff's Office, Criminal Investigation Division.
