If you’ve been wondering about something in your community, Ask The Times is your place to get answers. The following question was submitted by a reader and answered through the efforts of our news staff.

What’s being developed on McEver Road across from Free Chapel, just south of Browns Bridge Road?

Grading is making way for the Manor Lake assisted living and memory care facility.

Manor Lake Development LLC owner William Creekmore, who is developing the property, said the company will start preleasing in May with residents able to move in by the end of September.

Creekmore said the facility will have 86 rooms and 90 beds.

Manor Lake is expected to create 50 jobs, including full-time and part-time positions, Creekmore added.

The one-story, 68,000-square-foot Manor Lake will be a Deacon Communities facility.
