A March 19 arraignment is set for an Atlanta man charged in the Lake Lanier boating incident that killed an 11-year-old boy in July. Jeffrey Simon Hubbard, who was released Thursday on $10,000 bail, is charged with homicide by vessel in the first degree, reckless operation of a vessel, unlawful operation of a personal watercraft, boat traffic violation and serious injury by vessel. He was indicted Feb. 28 by a Hall County grand jury and arrested the following day by Georgia Department of Natural Resources officers.
