An accident before 6:30 p.m. today tied up traffic along Ga. 365 northbound, officials said.

A Georgia State Patrol official said it was uncertain if there were any injuries in the accident, but no rescue helicopter had been requested.

The traffic backup was in the vicinity of  Interstate 985 Exit 24, according to the Hall County Sheriff's Office, which was assisting in traffic control.
