Crews with Georgia Power installed a new LED light Wednesday at Yonah and Enota avenues in Gainesville. The utility company has begun converting roadway lighting with the new brighter and more energy-efficient LED lighting, specifically in areas along Thompson Bridge Road. Eventually a total of 1,799 lights throughout Gainesville will be replaced.
