Lightning struck five homes in Hall County Monday afternoon, but damage at all was described as minor.

Hall County Fire Marshal Scott Cagle said the homes, most of which are in the north part of the county, were struck beginning at 4 p.m. and nobody was injured.

The lightning strikes were along Old Dahlonega Highway, Mill Stone Cove Drive, 5600 block of Cleveland Highway, Green Mountain Lane and Timber Creek Trail, Cagle said.
