Three people escaped uninjured from an early Sunday house fire in East Hall.
Hall County firefighters responded to the fire at 12:50 a.m. in the 6900 block of Wheeler Road. They found fire showing in the back of a 1,500-square-foot mobile home, Hall County Fire Services spokesman Scott Cagle said.
Firefighters had a hard time putting out the fire because of voids between additions to the mobile home, Cagle said.
Wheeler Road was shut down during the blaze, which caused about $85,000 in damage to the home.
The occupants refused help from the American Red Cross, Cagle said.
The cause of the fire appears to be accidental, starting in an area of clothes that were piled on top of a charging laptop, Cagle said.
