Three people were arrested Saturday on charges of sale of alcohol without a license after a search of a Brown Street home in Gainesville turned up 300 beers, about 20 bottles of liquor and one bottle of moonshine, the Hall County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Arrested were Albert Lee Scott Sr., 54, Jamal Ramone Williams, 36, both of Gainesville, and Timeka Michelle Tabb, 27, of North Carolina, according to Lt. Scott Ware of the Gainesville-Hall County Multi Agency Narcotics Squad.

The search warrant was executed at 1370 Brown St. and agents with the narcotics squad and Gang Task Force joined deputies, Ware said.

During the search, Ware said, Hall County deputies simultaneously conducted traffic safety checkpoints on nearby intersections of Brown Street. Deputies and drug and gang agents will continue to patrol this area in the future, he added.

Ware said the search was in response to numerous residents complaining about illegal alcohol sales and excessive traffic in the area.
