The 2013 session of the Georgia General Assembly has officially begun. Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle called the Senate chamber to order just after 10 a.m. The first order of business in both houses was the morning devotion.
On the Senate side, the chamber was filled not only with senators, but also with family members and friends who came to help kick off the start of the new session. There are babies and little boys dressed in suits and ties.
