Two students were taken to the hospital after a school bus wreck Friday morning.
The bus, carrying 37 middle and high schoolers at the time, struck the back of a vehicle on Hog Mountain Road near Cash Road at about 8 a.m.
Three students “reported pain and discomfort following the accident,” according to the Hall County school system. Two of those were taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for further evaluation, but their injuries were not life-threatening.
Jennifer Gomez was driving the bus, No. 2002, and transporting C.W. Davis Middle and Flowery Branch High students.
According to State Patrol Post Commander Anthony Coleman, Gomez was cited for following too closely.
The Georgia State Patrol is still investigating the incident.
