Two Hall County residents who were involved in a motorcycle wreck were transported to the hospital Saturday morning with nonlife-threatening injuries after a rear-end collision on Lanier Islands Parkway, according to Trooper Scott Atwood with Georgia State Patrol.

Atwood said the two people riding on a 2006 Harley Davidson were traveling east on Lanier Islands Parkway where a 2011 Mitsubishi was attempting a left turn from the Interstate 985 ramp.

Atwood said that, according to several witness statements, “the car turned left in front of the motorcycle.”

He said the car's driver, who was uninjured, would be cited for failure to yield.

The incident happened around 9:20 a.m. Saturday.
