A woman in her 20s was airlifted to Atlanta Medical Center Monday night after being in a possible head-on collision involving two vehicles on Spout Spring Road just south of Deaton Henry Road, Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell said.

The other driver was transported by ambulance to Northeast Georgia Medical Center following the crash about 6:30 p.m.

The woman taken to the Atlanta hospital received possibly serious or critical injuries, Kimbrell said.

Kimbrell said the accident “appeared to be head on.”

Two others in the accident refused treatment, he said.
