Two people were injured and transported to hospitals after a head-on vehicle collision Wednesday afternoon in South Hall County.

Hall County Fire Services responded to the call after 1 p.m. just south of the intersection of Spout Springs Road and Ivey Springs Drive, according to Fire Marshal Capt. Scott Cagle.

One victim was ejected from one of the two vehicles involved and was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta with an apparent head injury. A second patient was transported by ambulance to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

A third person involved refused treatment at the scene.
