Two Smyrna residents were charged Tuesday with trafficking methamphetamine after about 15 ounces of the drug, worth about $42,000, was delivered to a location on Golden Parkway in Buford, Hall County sheriff's officials said.

Angel Flores-Patricio, 32, and Jose Luis Plata, 25, also were charged with possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute and had immigration holds placed since they were found to be in the country illegally, Lt. Scott Ware said in a news release

Multi Agency Narcotics Squad, Gang Task Force and the Hall County Sheriff's Office Uniformed Patrol Division arrested the two who are now in custody at the Hall County Jail.
