A 16-year-old was killed and two other teens were injured in a Friday night car wreck on Elizabeth Lane in South Hall.
The driver of the vehicle, another 16-year-old, lost control on a curve, went off the road and overturned into a wooded area, said Gary Sosebee of the Georgia State Patrol.
The teen who died was thrown from the vehicle. He wasn’t wearing a seat belt at the time of the wreck, Sosebee said.
The other passenger, a 17-year-old, and the driver suffered minor injuries.
The wreck took place at 9:43 p.m. Friday.
No other details, including names and addresses, were available late Sunday.
