Home video surveillance shared on social media helped authorities catch a teen suspected of stealing wallets, cash, credit cards and gift cards from at least four vehicles Friday in South Hall.

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office is hoping the video will also help them track down a second suspect in the reported thefts in the Brentwood subdivision.

Justin Caleb Gibilisco, 18, of Buford was arrested Wednesday at a Bob Bryant Road home in East Hall, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office. He faces four charges of entering auto and is awaiting his first appearance in court, authorities said.

“They went through the neighborhood checking all the cars to see what was unlocked and what they could steal,” the Sheriff’s Office wrote in a Facebook post. “They managed to get by with a few, but they also unknowingly starred in some amateur video.”

The video shows two suspects wearing hooded sweatshirts trying to open doors of vehicles sitting in a home’s driveway.
