One person was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Sunday night after a two-vehicle accident on Thompson Bridge Road near Murrayville, local officials said.

The 8:30 p.m. accident occurred on Thompson Bridge at Elrod Road, Hall County Sheriff’s Office and Georgia State Patrol officials said.

Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell said his department took one person to the hospital and Thompson Bridge was shut down 30-45 minutes.
