Mary Katherine Wilson and Nicholas Vincent Snider were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Aug. 8, 2009, at Brasstown Valley Resort in Young Harris. The bride is the daughter of Gary Michael and Vanessa Meeks Wilson of Clermont. The groom is the son of Jacqueline Marie Coogan of Hume, Va. and Joseph Raymond and Kristi Snider of Hume, Va.

The Rev. Dave Lewis performed the ceremony.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's friend Nicole Matthews Muns of Augusta was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Sarah Payne Allen of Montgomery, Ala., and Kendall Mize Thornton of Chattanooga, Tenn.

The groom's friend William Guy Stalcup III of Atlanta was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's friends Daniel Robert Sagan of Atlanta and Jhonce Brodie Downs of Charlottesville, Va. The bride's brother Zachary Michael Wilson was an usher. Renee Beebe was the wedding coordinator. Carrie Elizabeth Simmons kept the bride's book. Danielle Polcha Kononen was a program attendant.

The bride wore a diamond ring that belonged to her paternal grandmother.

The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Brasstown Valley Resort on the eve of the wedding.
