Amanda and Jonathan Thompson

Amanda Ruth Wade and Jonathan Thompson were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. June 14, 2008, on a mountain top accessed by a gondola in Telluride, Colo. The bride is the daughter of Donald and Ruth McCrum Wade of Gainesville. The groom is the son of MaryAnn Thompson of Columbus and the late Thomas John Thompson.

The Rev. Aaron Cooper performed the ceremony.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's sister Catherine Wade Oliver of Asheville, N.C., was matron of honor.

The groom's friend Steve Rubenstein of Telluride was the best man.

The bride wore a diamond pendent given to her by her great-grandmother.

The groom's mother gave a rehearsal dinner at Town Park in Telluride on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception at The Ridge Club in Mountain Village, Colo., following the ceremony.

Following a wedding trip to Kona Village, Hawaii, the couple resides in Norwood, Colo.
