Barbara and Russell Chester

Barbara Alice Trevino and Russell Bryan Chester were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. April 4, 2009, at The Southwest School of Art and Craft on the Riverwalk in San Antonio. The bride is the daughter of Roger and Patsy Trevino of San Antonio. The groom is the son of David and Gail Chester of Gainesville.

The Rev. Jeff Black performed the ceremony. A harpist and flutist presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her parents. The bride's sister Patricia Ontiveros of San Antonio was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Christy Sandefur of Furlong, Pa., Fabiola Hooker of Boca Raton, Fla., Kristen Petersen and Cynthia Muench, both of Delray Beach, Fla., and Bevin Van Zyl of Johannesburg.

The groom's father was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's brother Bradley Chester of Queenstown, Md., the groom's friends Michael John Lovell and Russell Hartness, both of Gainesville, Robert Hendrickson of Atlanta, Walt Moore of Jackson Hole, Wyo., and Stuart Hardman of Anderson, S.C.

Lewis and Merle Gaines, Colleene Ivey and Natalie Trevino were readers. Julie Traina was the wedding coordinator.

The bride wore her late grandmother's diamond ring and had a sixpence in her shoe given to her by the groom's mother.

The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Casa Rio Mexican Restaurant on the San Antonio Riverwalk on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's and groom's parents gave a reception at The Southwest School of Art and Craft following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Italy, the couple reside in Delray Beach, Fla.
