Lindsay and James Taylor

Lindsay Anne Tingley and James Alex Taylor were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 30, 2008, at Cavender Castle in Dahlonega. The bride is the daughter of Keith and Margaret Tingley of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Ron and Rosemary Taylor of Dawsonville.

The Rev. Kees DeVenti performed the ceremony. Bagpiper Dan Titus presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's friend Katie Green of Athens was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the groom's sister Jessica Taylor of Alpharetta and the bride's cousin Ryann Staz of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The bride's cousin McKenna Abernathy of Hebron, Ky., was the flower girl.

The groom's friend Cameron Van Den Veubal of Athens was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's friend Tim Schwarz of Buckhead, the bride's brother Kyle Tingley of Gainesville and the groom's friend Matt Davis of Atlanta. The bride's cousin Oscar Wahl of Philadelphia was the ring bearer.

Cyndi Durham was the wedding coordinator. Eva Hennessey, Harrison Venema and Deirdre Hennessey assisted.

The bride wore her grandmother's pearl necklace that her mother wore in her wedding and a bracelet honoring her friend.

The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner at the Smith House in Dahlonega on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception at Cavender Castle in Dahlonega following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to the Caribbean, the couple reside in Alpharetta.
