Miss Anne Pearce Thrailkill and Mr. John Thomas Whitmire were united in marriage at 6 p.m. March 8, 2014, at Buncombe Street United Methodist Church in Greenville, S.C. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Alan Thrailkill of Greenville, S.C. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Atlas Pearce Jr., the late Mr. and Mrs. William Earl Thrailkill, and the late Mrs. Jacqueline McCurry Thrailkill. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Michael Whitmire of Gainesville. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lovic Wyche, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Milton James Whitmire.
