Amy Lynn Strzemienski and Randy Winston Gillespie were united in marriage at 6 p.m. May 23, 2009, at Lebanon Methodist Campground in Gillsville. The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Wanda Strzemienski of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Randall and Jeannie Gillespie of Gillsville.

The groom’s grandfather the Rev. Marshall Dale performed the ceremony. Vocalist Lisa Martin of Hoschton presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride’s sister Anna Strzemienski of Cumming was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s friends Misty Ellis of Dahlonega, Martha Smith, Kendra Reese and Tiffany Lonsberry, all of Gillsville; the bride’s cousin Cheryl Martin of Hoschton; and the groom’s sisters Connie Cordell and Denise Porter, both of Gillsville. The bride’s friends Emily and Kayanna Ellis of Dahlonega blew post-sceondary bubbles.

The groom’s cousin Robby Buffington of Gillsville was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s cousins Josh Buffington, Matt Pressley, Tyler Robets and Jordan Roberts, the groom’s friends Nathan Smith and Wesley Jones and the groom’s brother-in-law Rodney Porter, all of Gillsville. The groom’s friend Tristan Buffington of Gainesville was the ring bearer. Ushers were Adam Strzemienski and Jay and Harrison Dale.

The bride carried a handkerchief that was her hanky hat as a newborn.

The groom’s parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Lebanon Methodist Campground on the eve of the wedding.

Following a honeymoon to Cherokee, N.C., the couple reside in Gillsville.
