Amanda Leigh Smallwood and Joshua Scott Bridges were united in marriage at 3 p.m. July 20, 2008, at the home of Harry and Connie Breedlove in Flowery Branch. The bride is the daughter of Keith and Darlene Watkins of Alto. The groom is the son of Randall and Gina Bridges of Gainesville.

The Rev. Perry Smith performed the ceremony.

The bride was presented in marriage by her grandfather Johnny Smallwood. The bride's friend Chassy Smith of Alto was matron of honor.

The groom's friend Andrew Bryson of Gainesville was the best man.

Gina Bridges kept the bride's book.

The bride wore her great-grandmother's pearl necklace and her grandmother's class ring. The couple used the bride's grandparents' first wedding bands.

The groom's family gave a rehearsal dinner at the home of Harry and Connie Breedlove on the eve of the wedding.
