Haley Ann Shuler and James Michael Hobson Jr. were united in marriage at 6 p.m. April 19, 2008, at Lambert Place in Atlanta. The bride is the daughter of Jack and Ann Shuler of Gainesville. The groom is the son of James and Toni Hobson of Evans.

The Rev. Thomas R. Smiley performed the ceremony.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's sister Ellen Shuler of Raleigh, NC., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Erin Riester of Acworth, Lindsey Walker of Atlanta, Kim Cooper of Dawsonville, Sara Manning of Atlanta and the groom's sister Alicia Hobson of Statesboro.

The groom's brother Bradley Hobson of Atlanta was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's friends Michael Smith of Atlanta, Adam Rivette of Columbus, Derek Backer of Augusta and Christopher Bair and Haroon Qureshi, both of Atlanta.

The bride's brother Patrick Shuler recited a passage.

The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner at The Clubhouse in Atlanta on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception at Lambert Place in Atlanta following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, the couple reside in Marietta.
