Bethany and Matthew Magnus

Bethany Ann Sauls and Matthew Mark Magnus were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Nov. 22, 2008, at Provine Chapel, Mississippi College, Clinton, Miss. The bride is the daughter of Edward Willard and Marilyn Bethany Sauls of Clinton. The groom is the son of William Barry and Sally Baya Patrick of Flowery Branch and James Douglas and Diane Strickland Magnus of Flowery Branch.

The Rev. Doyle Mathis Johnson Jr. performed the ceremony. Pianist Matthew Young Pruitt and vocalist John Orin Langworthy presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's friend Melanie Fisher McNeece of Clinton was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were the groom's sisters Brooke Magnus Kalinauskas and Baya Magnus Pruitt, both of Flowery Branch. The groom's niece Emma Katherine Kalinauskas of Flowery Branch and the bride's friend Madeline Elizabeth McNeece of Clinton were the flower girls.

The groom's father was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's friend Michael John Lovell of Gainesville and the bride's brother Edward Berk Sauls of Atlanta. The bride's friend Chadwick Mason McNeece of Clinton and the groom's nephew Parker Young Pruitt of Flowery Branch were the ring bearers. Ushers were Andrew Kalinauskas and Jeffry Henson.

Amy Johnson was the wedding coordinator.

The bride wore the veil and headpiece her mother wore in her wedding, a pearl necklace and bracelet given to her by the groom, pearl earrings given to her by her brother and she carried a sixpence in her shoe given to her by her stepmother-in-law.

The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner at The University Club in Jackson, Miss., on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception at Anderson Hall, Mississippi College in Clinton following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to New York, the couple reside in Gainesville.
