Lindsay and Rocky Rumpel

Lindsay Gail Satterfield and Rocky Charles Rumpel were united in marriage at 4 p.m. June 6, 2009, at Kingwood Golf Club & Resort in Clayton. The bride is the daughter of Mike and Fay Satterfield of Social Circle. The groom is the son of Chad Rumpel of Castle Hayne, N.C., and the late Reneé Rumpel.

The Rev. Mike Lowe performed the ceremony. Guitarist Kim Clark presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's sister Wendy Cleghorn of Villa Rica was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Megan Butler of Charlotte, N.C., and Brittney Runnion of Atlanta and the bride's cousin Jamie Bowen of Salt Lake City. The bride's cousin Austyn Bowen of Salt Lake City was the flower girl.

The groom's brother Ryan Rumpel of Wilmington, N.C., was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's brother Vinny Rumpel of Wilmington, the bride's brother-in-law Pope Cleghorn of Villa Rica, the bride's nephew Trey Cleghorn of Villa Rica and the groom's friend Richard Lindeman of Sandy Springs. The couple's Boston terriers Charlotte Red and Fenway Park were the ring bearers. Joy Saye was an attendant.

The bride wore a garter that was worn by her mother and sister in their weddings.

The groom's father gave a rehearsal dinner at Kingwood Golf Club & Resort on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception at Kingwood Golf Club & Resort following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Greece, the couple reside in Charlotte.
